When leaders grow, organisations benefit

Whether you're supporting a new manager, investing in high-potential talent or helping a leader navigate a challenging period, coaching provides the space to think clearly, strengthen communication and build leadership confidence.

Through one-on-one leadership coaching, I help emerging leaders, managers and executives develop the confidence, communication skills and self-awareness needed to lead effectively in today's workplace.

Is coaching right for your leaders?

Coaching can be particularly effective when a leader is:

  • Transitioning into a new role

  • Managing increased complexity or stakeholder demands

  • Developing confidence and executive presence

  • Struggling with competing priorities

  • Preparing for greater leadership responsibility

  • Working through challenging conversations or team dynamics

  • Navigating change, uncertainty or challenging conversations

How employer funded coaching works

1. Alignment conversation

We begin with a discussion involving the sponsoring leader, HR representative or business owner to understand the context, desired outcomes and organisational priorities.

2. Three-way goal setting

A shared coaching agreement is established between the organisation, the leader being coached and the coach. Together, we agree the outcomes we are working towards and how success will be measured.

3. Coaching programme

The leader participates in confidential one-on-one coaching sessions focused on reflection, practical action and real-world application. Sessions are tailored to their role, challenges and individual development goals.

4. Review and next steps

At the conclusion of the programme, we review progress against the agreed goals and discuss ongoing development priorities where appropriate.

Outcomes organisations commonly see

While every coaching engagement is different, leaders commonly report:

  • Greater confidence and self-awareness

  • Clearer thinking and decision-making

  • Improved communication and stakeholder management

  • Increased influence and leadership presence

  • Better navigation of complexity and change

  • Stronger prioritisation and focus

  • More effective leadership conversations

  • Improved team engagement and performance

These individual shifts often contribute to broader organisational benefits, including stronger leadership capability, better collaboration, increased engagement and improved retention of valued talent.

Confidentiality and trust

One of the questions organisations often ask is: "What will be shared with us?" While organisations understandably want visibility of progress, coaching conversations themselves remain confidential.

Information that may be shared

  • Agreed coaching goals

  • Progress against agreed outcomes

  • Attendance and programme completion

  • Broad development themes, where appropriate

Information that is not shared

  • Personal reflections or disclosures

  • Detailed coaching conversations

  • Sensitive workplace discussions

  • Anything discussed in confidence during a session

Confidentiality arrangements are agreed upfront as part of the coaching agreement and align with professional coaching ethics and standards.
