Strengthening the conversations that shape your leadership
One-on-one leadership coaching for emerging leaders, managers and executives in Auckland, across New Zealand and internationally.
I help leaders turn communication into a leadership advantage. Not just by communicating clearly, but by listening well, asking better questions and creating the dialogue that builds trust.
One-on-one leadership coaching helps you become more confident, intentional and effective in the way you lead. We’ll work on the real situations you’re facing: giving feedback, building trust, navigating change, handling tension or helping your team take more ownership.
Whether you’re a new manager or an experienced executive, coaching gives you space to think clearly, practise new approaches and decide what to do next.
Who is leadership coaching for?
Coaching may be useful if you’re:
New to management and finding your feet
Leading former peers or stepping into a bigger role
An experienced leader navigating change or team challenges
An executive making complex decisions or carrying significant responsibility
Ready to build your leadership skills and have more impact
You may recognise yourself in these situations
Many leaders come to coaching asking questions such as:
“Why is my team not doing what we agreed?”
“My team nods in meetings, but nothing changes.”
“I keep having the same conversation.”
“I’m avoiding giving someone difficult feedback.”
“There’s tension in the team and I don’t know how to address it.”
“I’m exhausted from carrying the team.”
“I’m delegating, but I still end up doing (or redoing) the work.”
“I need my team to think for themselves.”
“The standard of work is not high enough, but I don’t know how to address it.”
“There’s so much change. How do I keep people focused?”
“I don’t know how direct to be.”
“I’m new in the role and feel like I’m making it up.”
“I want to be trusted without becoming everyone’s friend.”
“I’m talking too much and listening too little.”
“I need to challenge someone more senior.”
This coaching may be right for you if you want to:
give clearer, more useful feedback
address tension, conflict or underperformance
lead former peers with confidence
delegate without micromanaging or picking up the slack
create greater ownership and accountability
build trust and stronger relationships with direct reports
communicate clearly and thoughtfully during change
become more confident, direct and intentional
understand the impact of your leadership style
stop having the same unresolved conversations
handle difficult conversations with greater confidence
Executive coaching
Leading at senior level can be rewarding - and isolating. You may be responsible for a business or team, navigating complex decisions and change, and finding it hard to speak openly with others about what’s weighing on you.
One-to-one executive coaching offers a confidential space to step back, think aloud and decide how you want to lead. We can work on the challenges that matter most to you, from influencing across an organisation and strengthening your impact to navigating change and identifying your next steps.
You don’t need to have the answer or a specific problem before you start. Coaching gives you dedicated time to test your thinking and consider a way forward.
How one-on-one coaching works
Coaching is tailored to your role, goals and current challenges. We’ll agree what you want to work on, then use our sessions to reflect, explore options and plan practical next steps.
Sessions: 60 minutes each
Format: Private video call, unless otherwise arranged
Location: Online - Auckland, across New Zealand and internationally
Frequency: Most clients meet every two to three weeks; we can adjust the rhythm to suit you
You can fund coaching yourself or your employer can pay. If your employer is funding it, we’ll agree in advance what information, if any, will be shared.
FAQs
What are your credentials?
I'm an ICF Associate Certified Coach (ACC)trained in Brain-Based Coaching through the NeuroLeadership Institute, and Communications Lead for the ICF Aotearoa New Zealand Branch. I'm based in Auckland and coach leaders online across New Zealand and internationally. Learn more about me.
Is executive coaching confidential even if my employer pays?
Everything we discuss in our sessions is confidential. I follow the International Coaching Federation (ICF) Code of Ethics, which treats confidentiality as a core professional standard. I don't share what you tell me with anyone.
The only two exceptions to this would be if there is imminent or likely risk of danger to self or others. Or if I am required to break confidence by law.
All sessions are held by private video call (unless otherwise arranged), so you can talk from wherever you feel most comfortable.
What does my employer see if they pay for my coaching?
Before we start, you, your employer and I agree in writing what, if anything, is shared — usually only broad goals and whether sessions took place. What you say in sessions stays between us.
How often do we meet?
Most people meet every 2 to 3 weeks, but we can adjust the rhythm depending on your needs, energy and schedule. There’s no fixed timeline.
Can we talk before I commit?
Yes. You can book a free 30-minute chemistry call to talk about what’s bringing you to coaching, ask questions and see whether working together feels like a good fit. There’s no obligation to continue.
“I had a really positive experience working with Jennifer.
She has a warm, intuitive way of helping you bring things out of yourself that you may not have considered before.
She made me feel comfortable, and rather than telling me what to do, she helped me identify the steps that felt right and realistic for me. Since our session, I’ve found it easy to put the strategies into practice because they genuinely align with what I know will work.
I would highly recommend working with Jennifer!”

“Jennifer was one of my coaches during the Global Enterprise Experience 2026, and I am genuinely grateful for the guidance she provided throughout the programme.
What stood out most was her ability to ask thoughtful and well-timed questions. Rather than simply telling me what to do, she encouraged me to reflect more deeply, consider different perspectives, and arrive at stronger decisions independently. Her approach helped me become more intentional and effective in my role as a team leader.
I strongly believe Jennifer’s insights contributed to my leadership during the competition, helped me guide my team towards a winning result, and supported the development that led to my receiving the Global Leader Award.
Jennifer is an insightful, encouraging, and highly committed coach, and I would gladly recommend her to anyone seeking thoughtful guidance and meaningful professional development.”
